Founded in 1974, Bird in Hand Iron Works is a unique gift shop that specializes in metal items for the home and garden. Located along Route 340, midway between the villages of Bird in Hand and Intercourse, we are in the heart of the PA Dutch and Amish Country. Our inventory includes thousands of items from over 200 vendors - some are small-time blacksmiths and welders; other are large foundries and metalworks.

   Our products are made of cast iron, wrought iron, tin, pewter and cast aluminum. We are proud of the quality and variety of our merchandise. Unlike other stores that may have a "smattering" of metal items, we are unique because we have nearly 1800 square feet of ALL METAL and related items.
